Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join a team in Santa Barbara! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the health of our company's finances. You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating essential financial reports.Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions (invoices, bills, payments)
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts
Generate financial reports (balance sheets, income statements)
Prepare reports for tax purposes (as needed)
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Stay up-to-date on bookkeeping best practices
Requirements
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting preferred
1+ years of bookkeeping experience
Proficient in bookkeeping software
Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits & credits, double-entry accounting)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
