Bar Lou Montecito is a new Casual Fine Dining Mediterranean Restaurant by established Chef & Owners, Brandon Boudet & Warner Ebbink.
Bar Lou is looking for persons who seek a professional, fun & lively kitchen environment, focused on seasonally driven, local sourced products & high-quality ingredients. We offer hands on training, culinary students welcome! Please come with a positive and polite attitude.
Job Requirements Include:
- Highly motivated, flexible, have creative problem-solving abilities, able to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously, and able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure & carry out written or oral instructions.
- The employee frequently is required to stand.
-The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30-50 pounds.
- Must have good hygiene.
Supervisor:
- Ability to lead the kitchen through service and oversee prep duties.
- Report to chef/sous chef of damaged or spoiled product, as well as low stock of items.
- Ability to make prep lists and follow order guides for all food product in house.
- Two years related job experience and/or training in kitchens. Culinary school is a plus.
- Required to work weekends and holidays
