Kitchen Supervisor Position available now! We are a local neighborhood restaurant in uptown Santa Barbara going on 11 years. Our menu is American food- burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, which goes along with a great tap list and local wines in a cozy casual atmosphere. We are open Mon-Friday 4-9 and Sat 12-9, Closed Sundays. Closed major holidays.
Schedule and Availability:
30-40hrs/wk including Saturdays (Must be available nights and Saturdays)
Job Duties include:
Manage daily kitchen operations, including placing orders, and prep lists
Oversee kitchen staff and scheduling
Ensure food quality, health dept/sanitation standards, and organization
Help kitchen staff as needed during service, including cooking on the line and prep
Create weekly specials
Experience:
2+ years kitchen experience -must have previous experience as a line cook and supervising employees
