The Electro-Mechanical Assembler position is located on the beautiful Central Coast of California - Goleta, CA. The position is Full Time and Temp to Hire, with the hours from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. The pay rate ranges from $22 to $26/Hr DOE. Duties & Responsibilities:

Assembler must read and understand production drawings, assembly instructions, work orders and sample Must also be able to receive verbal instructions regarding duty assignments.

Assembler crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.

Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel or printed wiring boards.

Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.

Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.

Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and

Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.

Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies.

Performs online inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Skills & Qualifications

1 year of assembly experience required
