Cloacina, LLC is a manufacturer and purveyor of package wastewater treatment plants and industry equipment located on the Central Coast of California. It is owned and managed by a family of licensed operators and maintenance mechanics, now four generators deep. The Field Services Manager ensures client relations through the process of start-up, commissioning, and the warranty period.

The Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified manager who has experience installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying wastewater electromechanical equipment, preferably in the field. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical problems and systems issues.

Can lead a team of field technicians.

Provides technical support on all projects with a focus on start-up and commissioning of the mechanical, electrical, biological, instrumentation, and automation systems to ensure the complete design functions as a whole and meets client specifications.

Determines technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications and recommends actions.

Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to recommend improvements.

This position will also require the individual to assess customer needs and recommend solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications.

Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors, and company representatives as needed.

Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Candidates should have the ability to stay calm under pressure and coordinate across multiple departments and installations.

Required Skills & Abilities

Experience: Minimum 4 years’ experience installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying wastewater electromechanical equipment, preferably in the field.

A team player who is self-motivated and interacts appropriately with peers, sales counterparts, and customers.

The ability to organize and express ideas clearly, verbally and in writing, in both individual and group situations.

Possesses the appropriate technical knowledge and has the ability to utilize that knowledge to effectively perform required job functions with an effective level of competence.

Ability to effectively manage assigned workload within allotted time constraints.

Must have the ability to lift 75 lbs.

A valid driver’s license is always required.

Ability to work extended hours as required.

Travel: Overnight travel required up to 25% of the time.
