Looking for someone who has the tools, space, and knowledge to build large picture frames and stretcher bars for artwork. I can provide lumber, 4/4 poplar–random width.
These frames are "floating" style and can range from 3ft x 3ft up to 5ft x 10ft.
The miters need to be tight and the finished frames need to be square. Most frames will need no stain or paint, just a finish sanding. Although some frames may need finish applied (paint, gel, water based, etc).
I can pick up the finished frames if necessary, so transporting them is not required.
If possible, I would love to see any finished woodworking projects you have pictures of.
I find that paying per finished frame works best.
If you are open to the idea of stretching the canvas as well, that would be a plus.
Prefer that you are somewhere not too far from Santa Barbara
