Exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing software firms in the real estate industry! Yardi Systems is hiring for a Graphic Designer to join their team in Santa Barbara, CA!
The Graphic Designer creates marketing materials, trade show booths/banners and signage, banner ads, print ads, and digital ads leveraging 2D and 3D design solutions to develop concepts reflecting Yardi's design ethos, support business targets, and enhance the consumer experience. The Graphic Designer plans, organizes and presents design concepts to team/manager/director and creates presentation materials that effectively communicate vision and goals. The Graphic Designer works collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs with clear ideation, through typography, color, texture, spacing, scale and outstanding use of environments
Applies design skills, including environmental design, space planning, visual presentation development and layout, proportion and scale
Designs with versatility and constantly seeks new and innovative ways to design for consumer experience; graphics, photography, and digital
Concepts experiential design to elevate brand excellence to a clean, innovative aesthetic and taste-level
Accelerates Yardi's direct connection with consumers across our digital and physical portfolio
Develops a seamless connection across Yardi's digital and physical portfolio to power future growth
Communicates articulately and effectively design intent and impact
Works collaboratively between cross-functional teams, project managers and senior leadership
Elevates brand design experience though original storytelling using 2D and 3D design
Presents design concepts to team/leader/director
Creates presentation materials that effectively communicate vision and goals
Manages a dynamic set of multiple work priorities, demands and changes
Adheres to corporate branding standards
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in a related area (graphic design, animation, multimedia design, fine art, film studies or CGI and 3D modelling) or an equivalent portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in the discipline of Graphic Design
Two plus (2+) years of related work experience in graphic design
Proven experience transforming creative ideas and concepts into dynamic visual content
Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite
DESIRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
High level of expertise using Adobe and Apple computer design applications, 3D modeling, animation software and SketchUp is preferred.
Experience working in Marketing is a plus
Experience with 3D modeling is a plus
Experience in the real estate industry is a plus
Experience working for a software company is a plus
