You will work in a team of highly capable developers and applied scientists who are responsible for all stages of development life cycle. You are expected to own/drive platform architecture, design and implementations to deliver high-quality features and services. You are expected to work across teams in a highly collaborative environment. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, deliver high quality code, set high standards through design/code reviews and mentor others on the team.Required QualificationsBachelor’s in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields.6-10+ years experiences delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.Preferred Qualifications Proven development experience in Java, Golang, C#, C+ Proven experience in building and operating large-scale distributed storage and data management systems Familiarity with Big data processing such as Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, Spark, HBase, Hive, NoSQL, etc. Familiarity with Data Lake and Lakehouse technologies such as Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue, etc. Familiarity with consensus protocols such as Paxos and Raft. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
