Description We are seeking for a seasoned Senior Payroll Administrator for one of our clients to work ONSITE in Santa Clarita, CA. The chosen candidate will be responsible for processing multi-state payrolls using ADP Workforce Now software. You will oversee all aspects of payroll for our multi-state operation ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This is a 6 month contract.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform regular payroll processing tasks, including data entry, file imports, and post-payroll reporting.

Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.

Ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of employee payroll records.

Complete multi-state payroll adjustments and changes correctly and within established deadlines.

Prepare and maintain accurate payroll documentation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Run audit reports and correct errors to ensure accurate payroll processing.

Provide expert-level proficiency with ADP Workforce Now software, performing upgrades and conducting regular system checks as required.

Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus

Minimum of five years experience in payroll administration in a multi-state environment.

Expert-level proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll best practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
