Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EEG Technician/Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting EEG tests and collaborating with neurologists to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform EEG procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare patients for EEG testing, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
Monitor and document patient responses during tests.
Produce tech reports for neurologists.
Maintain EEG equipment.
Adhere to safety and hygiene standards.
Educate patients and families about the EEG process and results.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in EEG technology preferred.
Previous experience in EEG or neurodiagnostic settings.
Strong understanding of neurophysiology and EEG interpretation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Will potentially hire and train the right person even if they have limit experience.
