Medical Office Manager – Santa Maria, CA

We are a well-established, independent Otolaryngology/Sleep Lab Medical Practice located in Santa Maria, California. We are currently seeking an experienced Clinic Manager/Medical Administrator to manage our growing practice.

Experience in a clinical setting and healthcare/medical experience is a plus but not required.

This unique individual will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the front and back office. The successful office manager will organize daily operations, manage employees, and ensure the success of all operations. He or she will also be working with several internal and external organizations or departments to meet the requirements of the practice and patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any healthcare field is a must.

Previous experience managing a Medical practice is preferred but not required

At least 10 years solid working experience.

Highly organized and have the ability to successfully lead and manage a busy practice of ENT physicians and other staff members with regards to scheduling, processing of medical records, managing staff, updating and follow-ups of all projects, ensuring all case requirements and processes are met and delivered before deadlines.

Must be detail-oriented and meticulous, have the ability to catch clinic staff errors and correct them accordingly, do quality control of reports and other documentation for patient cases.

Ability to produce and analyze financial reports to ensure financial health of the practice

Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the confidence to coordinate on behalf of the physicians, staff and/or patients.

Must be able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

Must have experience dealing with different types of vendors.

Must be resourceful and have great research skills.

Must be personable and be able to empathize and relate to physicians, staff and patients

Must be objective in all decision making

JOB TYPE: FULL TIME
