Tennis Channel is expanding its Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team as it prepares to relaunch Tennis Channel+ streaming apps and site.The Programming Manager is responsible for the ingest, setup, and scheduling of digital content and live event streams ensuring all video, art, metadata, captions and other ancillary materials are correctly processed and available to consumers on-time. Additionally, this person will help brainstorm and execute the DTC editorial strategy by implementing the in-app merchandising strategy including uses of hero images, swim lanes, landing pages and naming conventions. This role will work in close collaboration with the DTC product team.This is a great opportunity to gain extensive experience in the emerging world of OTT / VOD video ecosystems and emerging digital technologies.The role is based in our Santa Monica, CA office.Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Manage upload, schedule, and organize digital assets and live events on our content management systems.

Process day-to-day VOD, promotional assets, and editorial changes.

Track programming and event schedules daily, ensuring all information is accurate.

Compose and edit metadata, ensuring translation into local languages as required.

Perform quality assurance checks on all digital content, products and platforms.

Serve as the liaison for all questions pertaining to editorial and programming schedules.

Communicate program changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.

Support live event planning and oversee game manager schedules.

Participate in planning of digital products and scheduling of content.

Ensure compliance with all contractual restrictions and obligations as they pertain to the distribution rights.

Required qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, digital media, or subscription based business

Must be well-versed in the digital space

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Content Management Systems, Adobe Premiere, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and Excel a plus

Let’s talk.The base salary compensation range for this role is 62,000 to $68,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
