Very well-established North Bay Electrical Contractor has an immediate opening for a Payroll Specialist with strong construction background.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process weekly Certified and Union payroll
Process employee garnishments
Submit weekly Certified payroll reports
Labor Compliance support
Required skills and qualifications:
Experience with Certified and Union Payroll requirement; Prevailing wages
Knowledge navigating the DIR website
Elations, Emars, and LCP Tracker experience
High School degree or equivalent
Basic Accounting knowledge
Experience in accounting, working for a construction company
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office a must, Foundation Software a plus
Excellent organization skills
Ability to work independently without direction
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
Very Detail oriented
Ability to quickly change direction and appropriately prioritize schedule
Willing to learn new things and grow
Maintain confidentiality of records
This is a part-time on-site position for about 16-24 hours per week.
