We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing:

o Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.

o Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits.

o Prepare and distribute paychecks and direct deposit notifications.

Record Maintenance:

o Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee timesheets, tax forms, and deductions.

o Update employee information in the payroll system as needed (e.g., new hires, terminations, changes in salary).

Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

o Prepare and file payroll tax reports and payments.

Employee Support:

o Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any issues.

o Provide information to employees about payroll processes, deductions, and benefits.

Reporting:

o Generate payroll reports for management and finance departments.

o Assist with year-end reporting, including W-2 and 1099 forms.

Qualifications

Education:

o High school diploma or equivalent required.

o Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Experience:

o Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience.

o Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and timekeeping systems.

Skills:

o Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

o Excellent organizational and time management skills.

o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
