Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. In this role, you will prepare individual, partnership, corporation and S-Corporation tax returns, answer tax-related questions, and ensure compliance with all federal and state tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare individual and business tax returns
Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures
Communicate with client through our secure portal on missing documents, clarifications needed to complete the tax return
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
Maintain confidentiality of all clients information
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of tax preparation experience
Knowledge of current federal and state tax laws
Experience with Lacerte tax software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Schedule/Compensation:
Seasonal January 2026 to April/May 2026
Full Time ( Weekend flexibility is crucial)
