TransGlobal P&C Insurance Agency is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team to support business development for our Commercial Lines division.

Responsibilities:

Actively generate new sales leads, obtain all necessary information to turn leads into prospects and clients

Present proposals to prospects and clients, close sales, and complete exposure analysis

Provide proactive risk management advice to existing clients and resolve client issues

Identify carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines

Identify and pursue cross-sell and cross-referral opportunities amongst existing clients proactively

Be proficient and available to carrier rating system provided for agency use

Maintain proper documentation for existing and prospective clients

Attend training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

Bilingual in Chinese and English

6+ years of successful commercial insurance sales experience with active P&C license

Experienced in placing commercial insurance policies for high-risk clients in E&S market

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred

Good listening skills and the ability to determine clients’ needs efficiently

Positive learning & teaching attitude, ability to work in a teamwork environment

Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively prioritize workflow

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite and Agency Management System
