Job Title: Direct Support Provider (DSP)
Job Overview: The Direct Support Provider (DSP) plays a vital role in supporting adults with autism by delivering personalized care that aims to enhance independence and improve overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and community integration.
Implement Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and Individual Program Plans (IPP) to meet the specific needs of each client.
Facilitate access to community resources and opportunities to promote social engagement and skill development.
Serve as a positive role model, fostering a safe, respectful environment that respects the individuality of each adult with autism.
Collaborate with team members and families to ensure a high standard of care and support.

Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients and their families.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
Required Qualifications:
At least 6 months of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record and up-to-date insurance.
Clearance from a tuberculosis (TB) test and successful completion of Live Scan background check.
Current certifications in CPR.
