Location: 2800 West Bayshore Palo Alto

Start Date: January-March trial 2026

Hours: 8 hours/week to start (potential for growth)

Pay Training January-March minimum wage. $30/hour teaching 6 hours + $20 hours 2-3 office/marketing

About the Position:

JulieArt is seeking a passionate and experienced art teacher (2–5 years of teaching experience preferred) to join the growing fine art studio. This role focuses on portfolio development and drawing from life, following JulieArt’s established curriculum and standards.

Schedule:

Wednesdays: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Fridays: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Additional 2–3 hours/week for marketing (schools, social media, etc.)

Hours will increase based on expansion of program. No clock-in or clock-out — a trusted professionalism in time management and dedication is required.

Responsibilities:

Teach fine art classes following the JulieArt curriculum

Help students strengthen their portfolios and foundational skills

Manage classroom setup, materials, and individual student progress

Contribute to studio growth through marketing efforts (school outreach, social media posts, events, etc.)

Collaborate with JulieArt on curriculum goals and studio initiatives

Qualifications:

2–5 years of teaching experience (art education preferred)

Strong background in fine art and drawing from life

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Comfortable with light marketing and outreach tasks

Passionate about helping students grow artistically and professionally
