The New Village School is seeking a Spanish teacher for 1st to 8th grade students. The ideal candidate will be able to carry out the lessons entirely in Spanish, incorporating songs, poetry, and cultural history of the Spanish-speaking world while following the guidance of the New Village School teaching team.
We are most interested in finding engaging teachers who are excited to connect with our students, have experience in a classroom setting, and have some understanding or interest in learning about Steiner-inspired pedagogy. Experience or interest in teaching handwork is a plus.
Compensation is based on experience. We are seeking a part-time teacher for the current academic year starting late winter / early spring of 2024, with the possibility of expanding to full-time teaching in the fall of 2024.
