We are hiring a talented and licensed Architect to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of architectural design, construction, and code compliance. This role will involve overseeing project design from concept through completion, coordinating with consultants and clients, and ensuring all projects meet regulatory requirements.

Duties

Lead the design and development of residential and commercial projects from concept through construction documents.

Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting requirements.

Prepare, review, and stamp drawings for submission to planning and building departments.

Collaborate with drafters, engineers, contractors, and project managers to deliver high-quality work.

Conduct site visits as needed to verify existing conditions and oversee project progress.

Provide design direction and feedback to drafting staff.

Communicate effectively with clients to present design ideas and incorporate feedback.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and detail.

Qualifications

Current California Architectural License (required).

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

In-depth knowledge of building codes, permitting, and construction practices.

Excellent design, visualization, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills for client and team interaction.

Job Type: Part-time or Contract (hours may fluctuate depending on project needs)

Schedule:

Flexible hours (remote work available)

Monday to Friday availability preferred

Ability to Commute:

Santa Rosa, CA 95405 (preferred for site visits, but remote candidates will be considered)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Santa Rosa, CA 95405
