Positions: Cashier, Bartender, Busser, Barback, Security, Kitchen staff.

We are excited to announce the opening of a Sports Bar, Kitchen and Night Club all in one building! Cali’s has two floors, two full bars and a full kitchen. We will show all televised sports including basketball, football, soccer, baseball, and UFC fights. Our kitchen will feature a diverse and extensive comfort food menu and the cocktail menu will be giving island vibes with a crafty twist.

Our operating hours will be 11am to 2am, 7 days a week. (times are subject to change)

We are looking for people that like to learn, work hard, meet new people, and smile!

Must be able to work on weekends.

Basic Requirements:

Excellent customer service, friendly and efficient.

Responsible, energetic and detail oriented.

Well-groomed and neat in appearance and must wear non-slip shoes.

Multitasker, able to work fast and clean under pressure.

Professionalism and a solid work ethic.

Team player and reliable.

Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus.

Be able to carry or lift up to 50 lbs.

Be able to stand on your feet for more than 4+ hours.

Cashier:

Communication skills by greeting customers, answering questions about our menu, including problem solving and attention to detail.

Thrives in a team environment, ready to learn and train if given the opportunity.

Support and work with the rest of the team.

Answering phone calls, operating the cash register, bagging, cleaning tables after guests leave and assisting with tables set up for big groups.

Handle customer complaints with professionalism and positive attitude.

Maintaining cleanliness in dining areas and assisting with cleaning spills and other dining needs.

Restocking before and after shifts.

Must be ServSafe certified, or be able to obtain a certification.

Bartender:

Must be 21 years old.

Must have 2 years of bartending experience.

Must be ServSafe and RBS certified.

Must have the desire to go above and beyond to provide excellent guest service.

Must provide table service to seated guests

Maintaining a clean and safe work area at all times, restock before and after every shift.

Learn and execute house cocktail recipes to ensure a consistent experience for our guests.

Learn our food menu and always upsell.

Busser:

Clean and reset tables after guests leave.

Maintaining health and safety regulations at all times in the kitchen and floor areas.

Must be quick and ready to work.

Remove dirty dishes from stands and take it to wash.

Restock areas where it is needed.

Barbacks:

Must be 21 years old

Must be organized and detail oriented.

Fast working while assisting the bartender and helping on the floor.

Keeping the bar clean and tidy.

Keeping everything stocked and ready for the next shift.

Stocking liquors, refilling garnishes, hauling kegs, constantly washing glassware, changing garbage bins in and out.

Tidy up tables, bar counter and other areas as needed.

Security:

Must have 2 years of experience working security.

Guard card is a plus

Must be RBS certified

Be able to check all types of identifications to verify age requirements to purchase alcohol.

Prevent incidents from occurring, diffuse conflicts, respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.

Maintain order and enforce rules and regulations.

Handle difficult situations with professionalism.

Escort unruly patrons out of the establishment

Provide safety and security, not just for our guests but for the owners and staff as well.

Physically fit and able to handle physical altercations if necessary.

Must maintain control of access and club entry lines.

Kitchen staff:

Support our kitchen staff by washing, cleaning, sanitizing cookware, dishes and utensils.

At least 1 year of experience required

Preparing, peeling, cutting, slicing, chopping, cooking, and assisting the chef and kitchen manager.

Knowledge on how to use knives.

Setting up the kitchen for opening and able to close kitchen

Able to sweep and mop floors, wiping down walls, cleaning fridges in and out.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance as well as consistency.

Removing trash and garbage bins.

Must have or be able to get current ServSafe certification.
