Rise Woodfire is seeking a bilingual Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen in San Mateo. We’re a busy, 250-seat restaurant focused on quality, teamwork, and bold flavors. KM reports directly to GM and RKM and will work closely with Refional Kitchem Mnager , GM, Sous chef, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth orderly operation.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations
Lead, train, and support BOH staff
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards
Control inventory and food costs
Communicate clearly with team in both English and Spanish
Requirements:
Fluent in English & Spanish (required)
Proven kitchen leadership in high-volume environments
Strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills
Passion for hospitality and team development
