Busy downtown restaurant looking for a full time, experienced line cook!
Must have:
-Good communication skills and a good attitude
-Knife skills
-Knowledge of basic food preparation, including making dressing and sauces, sauteing vegetables, cooking meats to proper temperatures
-Current food handler's permit
-Knowledge of egg cookery preferred (most of our business is for breakfast)
-Ability to work well under pressure, we are busy!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Setting up stations for a successful service
-Following a prep list in an accurate and timely manner
-Cooking on the line during very busy services
-Breaking down stations and cleaning up after service
Hourly pay depending on experience
Eligible for tip pool after 3 months
Health benefits/401k available after a year of full time work
