Job Summary
Floating line/prep cook will work in the kitchen at B Star Bar. You will be responsible for ensuring that all salads and hot foods served from your station are prepared with precision and care. You will work as part of our kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, and the best possible experience for customers. Attention to detail, pride in your work, being a team player and having a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Prepare and set up your station: may include cold and/or hot stations
Consistently produce high-quality and appropriate quantities of food items according to established standards, utilizing excellent knife skills for precision and efficiency
Follow standard recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency and quality in food preparations
Work efficiently and effectively at your station
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, walk-ins, reach-ins, and other work areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Monitor and adjust food inventory levels based on business needs to minimize waste and optimize production, while ensuring proper rotation of perishable items
Collaborate with kitchen team members and management to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and timely preparation of food items
Perform additional job-related duties as requested
Knowledge Skills, Abilities:
Good working knowledge of food preparation and knife skills
Excellent safety and sanitation knowledge
Ability to self motivate, work independently, multitask, prioritize, and manage time
Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
Enthusiastic attitude
