Ultimate Staffing is seeking an HR Manager for a client in Hayward. This is a hybrid role (100% onsite for the first 90 days, then potential for hybrid), Direct Hire role with a starting pay of $115,000-$140,000 based on experience. Please read the job description below and if you are interested, please email me your most recent resume and I will give you a call.Duties:Provide day-to-day support and direction to management and employees to successfully administer and implement programs and processes, such as leaves of absence, benefits, workers compensation, and employee relations.Develop and improve core HR processes including but not limited to employee relations, professional development, and employee/partner engagement.Support management and HR team in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.Own & organize the people data in the HR Information System (HRIS) for compliance and generates reporting from HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Effectively conduct thorough, fair, and timely investigations, making well-reasoned determinations and appropriate recommendations regarding outcomes.Maintain a strong understanding of labor law and employment regulations; Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, by constantly analyzing policies and practices; Continually study and stay current of trends, recommended best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and talent management.Mentor and train managers or supervisors in the areas of employee relations, leadership and legal compliance.Assess operations to positively impact retention at all levels and proactively identify areas of opportunities.Subject matter expert to assist employee benefit operations, to include health and welfare and retirement plans.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field OR a combination of education/experience. 5-8 years of experience as an HR business partner or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
