Salary : $33.76 - $40.23/hr.; Range 70; (Five Steps; Maximum reached in 3.5 years)
The Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator reports to the Director, Transportation to provide support services for the Transportation Department; to maintain department databases; generate reports; maintain supplies, parts and consumables in support of vehicle operations; and to perform other job-related duties as required.

Two Letters of Recommendation
Class B California Commercial Driver License with Passenger, Air Brake endorsements with no restrictions obtained within the first six (6) months of employment.
California Highway Patrol School Bus Driver's Special Certificate with either no restrictions or a "1" restriction obtained within the first six (6) months of employment.
Department of Transportation Medical Certificate
Education:
Equivalent to completion of high school.
Experience:
Three years of experience performing a combination of clerical and office support; vehicle equipment record keeping; school bus operations and dispatch; and passenger vehicle
operations functions.
