About the Job:

The Client Intake Coordinator is responsible for surveying prospective clients, researching potential cases and managing the initial onboarding, including data entry. The ideal individual will have an acute attention to detail, work well under pressure, and understand the meaning of exceptional customer service. This position will require critical thinking, tenacity, strong judgment and quick decision-making skills to identify the potentiality of new firm business.

Responsibilities:

Conduct initial interviews with potential clients via phone or email.

Respond to potential new client’s emails in a professional and timely manner.

Quickly gather detailed information about potential clients’ legal needs.

Internet research of case information.

Assess eligibility and potential case value based on firm criteria.

Maintain accurate records and update case management systems.

Create initial client files and enter them into case management system.

Follow-up with clients regarding case information and documents.

Assisting Reception as needed.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education:

Previous sales or customer service experience required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous legal experience in a law firm preferred.

Demonstrate effective time management and sense of urgency.

Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.

Well-developed communication and customer service skills.

Proficient in organizing important documents and personal organization.

Exemption Status: Non-exempt hourly

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Work Location: Oakland, CA: In person
