We are a law firm that serves the immigrant community nationwide, with an emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area, with expertise in the practice of Immigration and Nationality Law. We specialize in all facets of immigration law, from deportation defense and appeals to family visas and petitions.

Immigration law firm looking for a Spanish speaking full-time paralegal that will directly work under the managing partner. Our firm handles a variety of immigration services including; Deportation defense, Asylum, Family Petitions, Adjustments of Status, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, ect.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including researching legal precedents, transcribing interviews and depositions, and preparing trial exhibits.

- Review and analyze legal documents, such as contracts and pleadings, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Organize and maintain case files, including updating electronic records and ensuring that all documents are properly filed with the court.

- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including answering phones, greeting clients, and scheduling appointments.

- Conduct legal research and maintain a current understanding of relevant laws and regulations.

- Assist with the preparation of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the legal team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish and English

-Excellent communication, writing and organized skills

-Detail orientated

-Ability to prioritize and work with strict legal deadlines

-Ability to work under pressure
