Law firm, which works predominately in immigration and criminal casework, is currently seeking an immigration assistant or paralegal who has experience handling family-based and removal proceeding cases. The position is intended to be full-time but has some flexibility. Part time may be considered.
The position requires that the candidate:
- Preferably has experience handling I-130, I-765, Waivers (I-601/I-601A), VAWA, U-Visas, I-589, and 42B petitions
- Is a FLUENT (if not native) Spanish speaker (MUST. Please do not apply if you are not bi or multi-lingual)
- Is detail oriented
- Is a team player
- Has experience in client relations/customer service
Ideally, the candidate would have knowledge on PSGs, deportation proceedings and preparation of court motions.
Individuals that have recently taken the bar exam and are looking for hands on experience, are welcome to apply.
