San Francisco Wine Society is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and organized assistant to help with both office administration and marketing/social media projects. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with ownership and be part of an established, award-winning wine program.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats—comfortable with spreadsheets one day and crafting Instagram captions the next.
Responsibilities include:
General office and administrative support, including data entry and file organization
Assisting with social media scheduling, engagement, and content development
Helping draft newsletters, event posts, and marketing materials
Updating contact lists, vendor records, and event databases
Providing occasional onsite support during events
Contributing creative ideas to promote upcoming events and brand awareness
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Excellent writing and communication skills
A proactive attitude and ability to work independently
Interest or experience in hospitality, wine, or event marketing
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time role, flexible schedule (10–20 hours per week) with possibility of a full time role.
Primarily weekdays, occasional evening or weekend work during events
Compensation based on experience
