Aero Living, a general contractor in the Bay Area, is looking for a talented bathroom and kitchen designer to collaborate with our renovation clients and guide them through the pre-construction design phase.

This role will help clients define their style, design and make informed decisions on cabinets, fixtures, tiles, paint, appliances, and other materials needed for their renovations. The goal is to ensure that all design decisions are finalized and materials are available on-site before construction begins.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with clients to understand their design preferences and help them articulate the style they want for their home renovation.

- Assist clients in selecting and sourcing all necessary materials, including cabinets, tiles, fixtures, paint, and appliances for kitchens and bathrooms.

- Provide expert guidance on cohesive design choices, ensuring that all materials align with the client's vision and meet functional needs.

- Coordinate with Aero Living's project managers to ensure all selected materials are available on-site before the start of construction.

- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and products to offer clients innovative and current options.

- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the design process and manage any design-related revisions.

- Deliver final design packages, including product specifications and material lists, to the construction team for seamless project execution.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in kitchen and bathroom design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

- In-depth knowledge of materials, fixtures, cabinetry, tiles, and appliances commonly used in home renovations.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate client preferences into practical design solutions.

- Familiarity with project management software and tools to track material orders and timelines.

- Strong organizational skills to ensure all design elements and materials are selected and available before the construction start date.

- Ability to work on a project-by-project basis, with compensation based on the scope and complexity of each project.

This is a project-based role, and the rate will be paid per project.

The designer will be accountable for the entire pre-construction design phase, ensuring all materials and selections are finalized and ready to keep the project on schedule.
