Job Summary:

Brushed nickel provides a more durable finish. Brushed nickel is one of the most durable finishes available, and tends to keep its appearance up longer than other coatings.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares aluminum parts for the plating process with a device called Anode made from carbon with a special fabric called loop.

Ability to apply coatings, applying a second coat of Nickle on top of the original one

Smooth surfaces, using the device called Anode.

Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.

Inspection of the aluminum parts, reporting any defects/damages.

Working with electricity and chemicals

Works safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.

Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.

Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Team Lead or Supervisor.

Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management

Qualifications

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Work Experience:

Manufacturing experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Driver's License (Preferred)

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses, and Registration)p

Preferred but not required

Language / Communication Skills:

Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers

English preferred, Spanish speaker is a plus

Requirements of the Job:

Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays

Work overtime when required

Arrive at work on-time

Comply with company policies

Complete paperwork and related administrative duties

High level of attention to details

Work Environment

Could be exposed to temperature changes and noise.

Will work around chemicals with potential splash exposure near process lines.

Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift.

Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
