Position Summary: We are seeking a results-driven and meticulous individual to manage our end-to-end supply chain operations, combining the critical functions of purchasing, inventory management, and receiving using ProShop. This pivotal role involves PO management, optimizing costs, ensuring product availability, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute purchasing strategies to ensure accurate manufacturing costing and timely acquisition of all materials and services for a variety of products/ jobs.

Oversee inventory levels and control stock replenishment processes using inventory management software (ProShop) to cost out materials used, minimize excess, and maximize efficiency.

Manage the receiving process to ensure all incoming deliveries are accurately verified against purchase orders, inspected for quality/condition, and properly recorded in the system.

Coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure continuous accuracy of inventory records.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., accounting/ finance and operations) to forecast demand, inventory recording, align procurement activities with production schedules, and ensure clear requirement documentation.

Will assist in product shipments via UPS and Total Quality Logistics.

Qualifications & Skills

1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control role in an industrial setting is preferred. We can train.

Knowledge of inventory control principles, supply chain management concepts, and purchasing best practices.

Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically ProShop is preferred but not required. ProShop training will be offered.

Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Exceptional communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills to build rapport with vendors and co-workers.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
