Established medium-size machine shop in North San Jose is looking for an experienced Screw Machine Setup & Programmer who will be responsible for programming and set up of two screw machines. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of screw machine Set-up/Programming Experience. Position available immediately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Set up, program screw machines.
2. Troubleshoot with programs (G-Codes). Troubleshoot technical issues.
3. Write screw machine programs to machine parts.
4. Responsible for loading and unloading parts.
5. Read engineer blueprints/drawings.
6. Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measurement instruments.
7. Ensure all work order sign off and inspection are complete.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3–5 years of screw machine Setup/Programming experience required
- Experience in machine shop environment.
Pay and Compensation:
Base compensation depends on experience $25 - $35 per hour
