Swing Shift Supervisor 2:30-11:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned.
Manage activities of several departments/sections including production operations, safety, planning and scheduling, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and facility and equipment maintenance
Establish operational objectives and plans weekly production schedules
Meet with supervisors to analyze and correct problems and to ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met
Provide technical leadership in the manufacturing processes and techniques
Estimate personnel needs and assign work to meet objectives
Manage staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and improve staff
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of production and process principles and manufacturing operations
Solid knowledge of the company’s policies, practices and procedures with the ability to work within parameters
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
Excellent people skills with the ability to evaluate, coach, and motivate employees
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Education, Certifications and Experience
5-7+ years manufacturing or related work experience
B.S. or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience
Previous management experience
