We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our family-owned

commercial real estate office. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day financial

transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping for various real estate investments and

properties. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling

accounts, and assisting in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

 Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including income, expenses, and

payments related to commercial real estate properties.

 Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts monthly.

 Prepare and issue invoices for rental income, property management fees, and other real

estate-related services as needed.

 Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Maintain vendor management and vendor performance.

 Monitor and manage budgets for various real estate projects and properties.

 Assist with the preparation of financial information for tax filings and audits.

 Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and tenants to resolve financial

discrepancies.

 Maintain financial records and ensure they are up to date and compliant with legal and

tax regulations.

 Assist with payroll, employee reimbursements, and other office-related financial tasks.

Qualifications:

 Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within the real estate or property

management industry.

 Experience with AppFolio is a plus.

 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.

 High level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.

 Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and

team members.

 Knowledge of real estate accounting practices is a plus.

Education & Experience:

 Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree

preferred). High school diploma required.

 Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, with experience in commercial real

estate being highly desirable.
