About Us:

We are a growing, privately held, mid-sized custom home builder and general engineering firm based in San Mateo with more than three decades of experience as a construction management and high-end custom home builder. We self-perform demolition, excavation, foundation, framing, and finish carpentry. Our work environment is fast-paced, focused and fun and we work primarily on the Peninsula.

We are looking to add full time worker for:

 Project Coordinator

Qualified Applicants need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas, enough to assist Sr. PM:

 Plan, organize, and execute the processes necessary to systematically construct custom residential homes.

 Understand scope of work and specifications of project and understand a variety of construction methods.

 Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.

 Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other requirements.

 Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, clients, and other pertinent parties.

 Review and Execute project subcontracts.

 Identify preferred subcontractors and foster positive working relationships.

 Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, estimators, and others regarding the construction

process.

 Ensure job sites are prepared appropriately for subcontractors and all materials are on site as scheduled.

 Process subcontracts, change orders, RFI’s, purchase orders.

 Maintain project schedule by updating schedules with changes/progress.

 Prepare reports and billings per contract requirements.

 Prepare meeting minutes and lead client meetings as required.

 Ensure project is delivered on time and on budget.

 Assist with coding invoices.

 Ability to produce material takeoffs appropriate for pricing that ensures adherence to plans and specifications.

Requirements:

 Ability to read plans and detailed specifications, a must

 Must be able to speak, read and write English

 Computer and Excel skills

 Reliable transportation

 Work well with others as well as independently

 Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

 Honesty and integrity

 Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

 Clean DMV record

 Drug free

Experience in other construction areas a HUGE plus and will be considered first

Experience, effort and being a team player ensures long-term employment
