Food wholesale company with 25+ years in operation has an immediate opening for office assistant role. We are located in a nice business plaza with a well kept office. You will be entering orders using Microsoft outlook and office phone into Excel. Preparing daily delivery sheets for drivers. Making invoices, POs, payments etc. using QuickBooks. Prior QuickBooks experience is not a must but will help in your job. Experience with excel and data entry is a must. Candidate must be detail oriented, organized and punctual. Candidate must be fluent in English with good communication skills. Patient and well mannered with customers on the phone and in person as we do get some walk-ins. You will have constant support but will be working independently.
Requirements
Must be punctual.
Must inform time off at least a week in advance.
Must be polite and well mannered.
Must have experience with Microsoft Excel. Making spreadsheets and working with simple formulas.
We test basic Excel skills.
Must have experience with mid level data entry in Excel, basic level will not do.
Prior knowledge of QuickBooks is not required but a plus. We will train.
Must have good writing skills to answer or send emails in a formal manner.
Timings of employment: Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm.(Lunch excluded)
Compensation
$22-25 per hour based on skill.
