Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Full-Time Retail Sales Associate who has a love for animals and a strong interest in pet nutrition (no prior experience in nutrition is required, we offer training). This role involves working in both our Oakland and San Anselmo locations, so a reliable vehicle is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting appropriate raw or cooked food and supplements for their pets.
Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a friendly, welcoming, and educational shopping experience.
Maintain a well-organized and stocked sales floor.
Educate customers on the benefits of raw feeding and holistic supplements (training provided).
Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and displaying products.
Support store events, promotional activities, and social media efforts.
Work closely with our Certified Canine Nutritionist to assist customers with nutritional consultations.
Qualifications:
Passion for animals and a strong interest in pet nutrition (training will be provided).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to split time between our Oakland and San Anselmo locations.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
