Santa Cruz Waldorf School is seeking a dedicated Part-Time School Store Manager to run our on-campus store, "The Treasure Tree." This special retail space provides gifts and toys that align with the Waldorf educational philosophy and lifestyle. It has been a highly valued component of our school community for decades.
What you will do:
Manage all store operations, including working part-time scheduled hours and weekend events (e.g., a Fall Festival).
Be the face of the store, providing excellent, friendly customer service.
Manage inventory, work with vendors, and design appealing merchandise displays.
Handle all financial transactions using QuickBooks (sales orders, deposits, refunds, basic bookkeeping).
Solicit and manage shop volunteers.
What you'll bring:
Proven retail/customer service experience.
Essential:
Proficiency in QuickBooks.
Organizational skills for inventory management.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Position: Part-Time School Store Manager (Treasure Tree)
Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
