Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Foreman with a minimum of 5 years in the electrical contracting industry. The successful candidate will manage commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects of all sizes, ensuring compliance with our quality standards and project timelines.

What We’re Looking For:

o Well-Rounded Knowledge of Electrical Installations

o Distribution systems

o Lighting and lighting control systems

o HVAC equipment and motor connections

o Conduit and wire

o Branch devices

Skills:

o Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

o Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional and courteous manner.

o Excellent task prioritization skills based on deadlines and urgency.

o Proficiency in navigating and updating company systems (emails, work orders, reports, etc.).

o Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

o Clean DMV record.

What You’ll Be Doing:

o Analyze bid documents and existing site conditions to outline the scope of work.

o Also examine the general conditions and project requirements.

o Identify risks in the scope of work to ensure all related costs are covered.

o Establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards for project completion.

o Manage a team of electricians, assigning daily tasks and providing necessary materials/equipment.

o Oversee crew labor hours, material procurement, scheduling equipment, and daily production reporting.

o Lead safety meetings and ensure the use of required PPE by all crew members.

o Execute conduit/wire installations and device terminations.

o Troubleshoot issues and perform quality control testing.

o Conduct pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, and project turnover.
