INSTALLATION WORKERS: REQ: basic construction skills. the more skills the better for Planting, irrigation, gas and water plumbing, 12-240v electrical and landscape lighting and sound, stone and brick masonry, carpentry. equipment operations, welding. Must be willing to work hard, learn quickly and have attention to detail.
JOB FOREMAN is a working foreman in charge of a job supervising 1-6 employees who is willing to set an example and do what is needed to get the job done efficently and with attention to detail and be able to teach and supervise employee and perform more techincal aspects of the job such as layout, troublshooting, programming controllers and lighting and other more involved techinal parts of the jobs. Communicate with everyone, inspire, organize and pay attention to detail.
SENIOR CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN/ SUPERINTENDENT is an in the field position who can demonstrate and perform skills that crew members and leaders may lack; this is not a desk project management position! The foreman will be responsible for managing 1-3 small crews and overseeing/completing daily project operations, and will report directly to the company owner This position must have experience managing projects over $100k budget, with a high level of detail and well versed in construction practices. . Must have at least7 years of landscaping experience and have over 3 years of managing multiple crews. The Foreman is responsible for project
layout and implimentation, crew scheduling, onsite measurement calculation, ordering materials, clients relationship, manage the crew leads, manage project timeline from start to finish, and crew performance evaluation. Interact with the owner, client, designer, employees and suppliers.
Requirements:
-Must be honest, energetic, reliable, able to lift 40 lbs.
Posses good comunication skills in dealing with clients, contractors, architetcts and employees etc.
-Understand English and Spanish. (some)
-Able to read blue prints
-Able to manage multiple crews (SR foreman /Superintendtent
-Experience in carpentry, brick and stone masonry, plumbing, irrigation layout/troubleshooting, electrical 12v-240v
-Able to operate skid steer, mini skid steer, truck and dump trailer
-Good sense of aesthetics
-Pond/water feature installation/troubleshooting and repairs
-Programing smart controllers and setting up flow, rain, moisture and weather stations
-Field calculation and shooting elevations to confirm quantities, layout steps, and etc
-First aid and safe working practices
-Have a positive attitude
-Good DMV record.
