Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The Mechanic II willperform skilled, complex troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation, and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, winery, vehicles, fixtures, and systems.Responsibilities:Perform skilled welding, electrical repair, fabrication, mechanical repair, refrigeration and HVAC repair, liquid and gas plumbing, and other mechanical tasksRead and interpret schematics for electrical, mechanical, piping, fabrication and construction projectsAble to troubleshoot, build and install high/low voltage control distribution panels, circuits utilizing switches, relays, transformers, and breakers, along with other electrical componentsSolid understanding of PLC’s – VFD’s along with basic programming skillsTrain Mechanic I workers to advance their skillsIdentify and report needed maintenance
and facility repairs to Maintenance ManagerUtilize variety of hand and portable power toolsAssist in the movement of materials and equipmentResponsible for compliance with CWUS sustainability policies and practices which are economically viable, socially acceptable and environmentally sound. This is done by supporting programs at each location for conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling, which are critical for our operations to achieve tangible environmental results.Safety – follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety.Minimum Qualifications:Must be able to operate vehiclesMust be forklift certifiedMust understand cooling systemsWill be expected to read blueprints and diagramsMust have strong reasoning and troubleshooting skillsWill

The employee is occasionally required to stand; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. Frequent walking, including going up and down stairs and ladders, and bending are required. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Work Environment: Working conditions in certain areas of the winery are cold, wet, slippery and noisy. Involves exposure to hazardous conditions. Irregular shifts, including graveyard, and

Our compensation is based on cost of labor.
