Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Partnership Development Sales Representative to expand our network and secure consistent referral business. This critical role is responsible for identifying, establishing, and nurturing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key players in the real estate, property, and construction industries. The ideal candidate thrives on networking and possesses the ability to effectively communicate the value of partnering with United Electrical Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and engage target businesses that require or can refer reliable electrical services. Target partners include:
Real Estate Agents and Brokers
Residential and Commercial Property Managers
General Contractors and Home Remodelers
HVAC and Plumbing Companies
Architectural and Interior Design Firms
Other relevant trade and referral partners
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of business development, outside sales, or relationship management experience, preferably in the construction, home services, or B2B industries.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the roles and referral needs of real estate, property management, and general contracting professionals is highly desirable.
Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Must be a self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Competent in using CRM software, email, and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint/Google Slides)
Compensation
This is a high-reward, commission-based position designed to incentivize aggressive partnership growth.
Commission Rate: The representative will earn a competitive commission of 10% of the gross receipts generated by each new client they successfully refer or onboard. Note that this is entirely a commission based role.
Duration: This 10% commission applies to all gross receipts from that client for the first 60 days following their initial service date.
