JOB TITLE: Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY:
The company is a provider of quality fire protection products and services and is currently seeking a motivated individual to be part of our team. The Service Technician services and maintains portable fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems for current and new customers. Selling services to new customers is also expected within the designated territory. Operation of a company vehicle and independent scheduling and invoicing is required. Responsible for maintaining a professional, productive and safe work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Servicing of customers fire extinguishers including annual maintenance, recharge or repair and hydrostatic testing.
-Servicing and repair of fire suppression systems.
-Advise customers on fire protection equipment and techniques as well as fire code standards and compliance.
-Company vehicle provided. Responsible for keeping service vehicle clean and in good working order.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
-Strong Customer Service orientation.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.
-Time management skills are a must. Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
-Flexibility is important. Ability to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating and fast moving work environment.
-Excellent driving record.
-State License Required. Prefer candidate with a valid CA fire extinguisher license but will train the right candidate.
