JOB OVERVIEW:
Paulo Sausage Company is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Delivery Driver & Market Support person to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring our high-quality products reach farmers markets on time and in perfect condition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing coolers of products, delivering and picking up booth supplies from multiple markets on Saturday & Sunday, and organizing supplies at the end of each market day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Preparation: Pack coolers with packs of sausage, sauce, etc., ensuring proper temperature and packaging.
- Market Deliveries: Load & transport products and supplies to various farmers markets, ensuring timely arrival using the company van.
- Supply Management: Keep track of booth supplies, ensuring all necessary items are available and properly stored.
- Communication: Coordinate with the owners & other team members to ensure all deliveries and market operations run smoothly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Saturday: 4:45 AM - 8:30 AM & 11:45 AM - 3:30 PM
Sunday: 4:15 AM - 8:30 AM & 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
This is a split shift position.
Hours may vary slightly based on weekly needs.
Total Hours: Approximately 16.25 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in delivery driving or logistics preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 150lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Comfortable working/driving in different weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
