Chill Theaters is the Bay Area’s first luxury mobile movie & gaming theater, delivering unforgettable cinematic experiences right to our customers’ driveways, backyards, and events. We’re growing fast — and we’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Driver & Experience Host to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Chill Theaters Driver & Experience Host, you’ll be the face of our brand. Your role is a blend of driving, setup, light maintenance, cleaning, and customer interaction. You will ensure each customer has a seamless, exciting, and stress-free experience.
Responsibilities:
Safely drive our Chill Theaters mobile theater trailer to customer locations throughout the Bay Area
Set up the theater at each booking (power, screens, sound, heating/cooling, etc.)
Help customers choose entertainment (movies, TV apps, gaming consoles) and ensure everything runs smoothly
Operate and troubleshoot basic equipment (TV, projector, lighting, PS5, Xbox, streaming apps)
Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and post-event breakdown
Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the Chill Theaters brand
Communicate any issues or repairs needed to management
Requirements
Valid driver's license and ability to confidently tow a small trailer
Clean driving record
Comfortable interacting with customers of all ages
Basic tech knowledge (streaming platforms, HDMI, gaming consoles)
Ability to lift 40+ lbs
Reliable, on-time, and organized
Weekend and evening availability strongly preferred
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with event setup, hospitality, or AV equipment
Prior customer-facing or service-based job experience
Interest in movies, gaming, or entertainment
Hours & Pay
Part-time, flexible schedule (mostly evenings + weekends)
$20–$25/hour depending on experience
