About the Role
We are a busy family looking for a reliable, kind, and organized individual to join our household as a Family & Household Assistant. This position blends roles of personal assistant, tutor, and mother’s helper — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and loves helping a home run smoothly!
You’ll support our family in day-to-day routines, help with homeschooling for our 9-year-old, and provide care for our 19-month-old daughter. You’ll also help with light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, and occasional tasks related to our small business.
Responsibilities
Assist with homeschool lessons and activities (approx. 10 hrs/week) for a 9-year-old
Provide childcare for a 19-month-old, including playtime, meals, and naps
Light housekeeping — tidying, dishes, laundry, keeping things organized
Meal prep and simple cooking for the family
Run errands (groceries, returns, post office, etc.) as needed
Help with personal assistant tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and organizing family or business logistics
Support with daily routines and keeping the household running smoothly
Ideal Candidate
Enjoys working with children and is patient, creative, and encouraging
Comfortable helping with schoolwork and simple educational activities
Organized, proactive, and able to multitask
Has a reliable car and valid driver’s license
Looking for a long-term, consistent role with a family
Schedule
We can be flexible!
Full-time: 35–40 hrs/week
Part-time: 25–30 hrs/week
Some flexibility in start and end times
