Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher you will be responsible for food preparation, meal service, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and gain valuable culinary experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans by hand
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and procedures
