Job description

This position will report to the Maintenance Lead. The goals of this position are to provide industrial maintenance support within the Paso Robles facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks for building and grounds.

- Perform trouble shooting, maintenance, repairs and replacements for production equipment:

-Tank service and insulation​​​​​​

-Piping, heat trace and insulation systems

-Valve replacement and rebuilds

-Mixers/agitators/pumps/compressors

-Air Compressors/chillers/boilers systems

-Service and/or repair seals, gaskets and O-rings

​​​​​​​ -Assist in water treatment as needed

- Participate in inventory and recordkeeping

- Participate in computer-based training

- Electrical trouble shooting

- Repair machine guards and safeties

- Follow Q7 GMP guidelines, SOP’s, and other stated requirements for handling active pharmaceutical ingredients (API’s)

- Perform other duties as required and directed by the Maintenance Lead and Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Requirements – Education, Experience, Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience

- Ability to work in a safe manner both independently and around others by following all required procedures

· Must exhibit strong organizational skills and be self-motivated

- Must follow departmental practices and procedures

- Trade skills - millwright and piping

- Strong mechanical skills - able to use a variety of hand and power tools

- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills both oral and written

- Must possess good reading skills for drawings, service manuals, and blueprints

- Flexibility with schedule and work duties and be available to be on call

- Welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrician trade skills are considered a plus

- PLC programming considered a plus

- Pump laser alignment and rotary equipment rebuilding experience are considered a plus

Right now the mechanics are working 4 ten hour days. They are running on a shortened manufacturing schedule because of our staff shortage, but hope to get back to our normal schedule early next year. Mechanics are also on call on the weekends and nights. They rotate weeks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour to start plus benefits

Schedule:

10 hour shift

Monday to Thursday schedule could change
